MAD Day

On February 6th, we held our MAD (Making A Difference) Day at Home Welfare Karunai Illam in Kepong.

Our team of 16 members from Legacy 41, along with 30+ volunteers — including friends and other Legacies — came together to spend the day with 40 children from the home, supported by their caretakers.

Since it was Chinese New Year, we wanted to give the kids a new experience, so we arranged a Lion Dance performance — something many of them had never seen before. Seeing their joy and excitement made it all worthwhile!

On top of that, we managed to raise RM33,000 in just one week! Every cent went towards improving the home, upgrading their furniture, and providing tuition for the kids, ensuring they have a better environment to grow and learn.
